One Way To Promote Data Recovery Business

Today most people are still struggling on their business. It is more than likely that nobody is immune from the economic downturn. It seems like the last thing to do in this time of economic hardship is invest on new hardware. But IT consultants suggest that trying to coast on failing or outdated equipment will cost you more in the long run.

Therefore in case you are looking for a proper utility, tool or equipment to start your business in the IT world, review on every available option is a must. Make sure you have done your homework with these product effects: expand business, value added service and cost effective.

Data recovery is one of the fastest growing industries, with most rapidly technology upgrade. Every so often, vendors are competent to upgrade their products, but be noted that the ongoing upgrade in some cases is not free of charge; instead you will have to pay for the additional service. Unfortunately, some vendors keep producing and upgrading their products on profit purpose.

As most of us may already know, several excellent data recovery software utilities out there such as R-STUDIO, FinalData, Easyrecovery etc, are prominent to fix a variety of logical damages. However, logical recovery software has nothing to do with physical damage which was caused by long time using and platter degradation. Technically speaking, drives presented for recovery sometimes have some heads or surfaces damage. The problem is severe enough for the drive to stop working in its native system.

We are currently talking much about the latest upgraded Data Compass DCEXP utility, partially because of its upgrade free of charge. According to the vendor’s report, saying that it is possible now to create a copy of data using the remaining good surfaces or drive heads, which is a troubleshooter for big issues as I mentioned above. Even better, small files can be recovered directly.

In the report, despite success rate, other essential focuses are first drawn to our attention. One of the features installed in this utility is to read the problem hard drive data initially on a platter with minor physical bad sectors, and then further into those severe bad sectors area. By Reading in a way from the most recoverable data then back to the risky data area, it greatly avoid further damage to drive head and reduce any head corruption when reading data.

As for the damaged drive with multiple heads, the utility will be performed to select specific heads which is healthy and available for reading. First “good” heads then “bad” heads, so it will smooth the reading of the data and improve efficiency.

In most cases, head stack will not crush completely. Thus with the utility of image by selective heads, you can fully use heads available on hand, no need to conduct a risky head stack replacement.

Plus, success rate is a focus of attention for users, as always. Here we need some background knowledge on how the data is stored on the platters. One complete file will not be stored in one surface by one head, but to be stored in all available surfaces by all available heads considering the quick access by using multiple heads. The success rate is otherwise greatly related to the drive itself, the size of files as well as its type.

In fact, sometimes success rate does not matter too much, when selective image comes to be the only solution for data recovery, and what we can do is to save our data loss as much as we can.

Another breaking news is that the new version of RAID recovery utility is about to release. It is designed as a build-in utility for current Data Compass. It is also said that their users will be empowered with this utility upgrade free of charge. As we know, RAID recovery is one of the most complicated recovery processes. There are many RAID data recovery software out there claim to recover lost or deleted data when RAID servers are down. In most cases, they can be very expensive.

Only if we know how they normally work for their services, we are able to find a solution as a best fit for our business. It is absolute a wise way to invest on a product that will continuously bring value increment of assets back to us since then.
